Take a break

We’ve all heard take the stairs, not the elevators. Start easy, just walk one flight, to begin with, and build up as you get stronger. You’ll see how this improves your health at work. Go and see a colleague rather than calling them or send an email. Take a lunchtime walk, or if you are feeling really eager and you have showers at work make it jog. If you do not have time to work out, then take these extra steps to ensure you do not let your physical health slide.
Drink more water, keep yourself hydrated. And for extra exercise offer to get the tea/coffee run that little bit extra makes a difference. Make sure it is decaffeinated although a cup or two with caffeine in the morning is fine.
