Cheryl and I met in Gettysburg, Virginia back in 2007, when Fabgrandpa and I worked at Granite Hill Campground. Cheryl was the day shift supervisor and I was the night shift supervisor. Our shifts overlapped for a few hours each day, and we quickly became friends. We have kept in touch throughout the years. When Fabgrandpa and I went to Richmond to visit Becca, Cheryl drove up from her home in the Northern Neck of Virginia, where she moved a couple of years ago, to hang out with us one afternoon. I love Pampered Chef products. When Cheryl showed me the Rolling Cookie Cutter, I was awed by it. Yes, I really was. I asked her to send me one, and she did! This rolling cookie cutter is a great kitchen tool! You just roll out your dough, and roll the cookie cutter over it. Voilá! a row of cookies ready to pop on the pan. There are three different blades for the cookie cutter: A heart shape, a circle, and a fluted square. You can make fancy cookies as quickly as you can blink.
Abbey and I played with the Pampered Chef Rolling Cookie Cutter one day about a month ago and made some heart shaped sandwich cookies with chocolate frosting in the middle. It was easy to cut the cookies out. I like that the cutter makes best use of the dough, cutting the cookies as close together as possible. I know, some people can do that freehand quite easily, but there are people like me who need a little help. Ha ha ha. Our cookies turned out pretty! Heart shaped chocolate sandwich cookies for everyone!
The real test of a good cookies, though, was the approval of the cookie eaters: Abbey and Fabgrandpa. They agreed that the chocolate made the difference, LOL.
