Fall has always been y favorite time of year. The weather is cooler, the leaves are changing, it’s time to plant the winter garden, and it’s Fall Soup Season with Progresso.

The trees here in west Georgia are just beginning to turn. This one has a way to go but is already dropping those leaves.

We have quite a wilderness in the back two acres, where our landscaper stops cutting the grass the weeds grow tall and provide cover for critters. That dogwood tree back there is really red right now.

This tree, that I think is a Live Oak or a Post Oak, is the most colorful tree in the yard right now. It is brilliant on an overcast day last week.

Th is writing spider by my front porch has moved her web three times in a week. It won’t be long before she is gone for the winter. I will be glad of that!

Another thing I love about Fall is that cooler weather calls for soup for lunch or dinner. Progresso Soups are delicious, and so easy to just open and heat up.

They aren’t concentrated, so you don’t have to add any liquid. Just open, heat, serve. To complete the meal, Fabgrandpa and I like to add crackers, and sometimes a salad. For dinner, or a heavier meal, a sandwich or quesadilla is a great addition. I love that there are many varieties of Progresso Traditional and Rich & Hearty Soups that are Gluten Free, so that people like me can have a great choice.

Today for lunch, Fabgrandpa and I both had a bowl of Progresso Traditional Split Pea With Ham soup with gluten free crackers. It tasted so good, it could have been home made.

Traditional Chicken Noodle, Rich & Hearty New England Clam Chowder, Traditional Italian Style Wedding soups, and so many other varieties make it so easy to serve Progresso soups often. And, because they are made with wholesome, quality ingredients they are always in-season when you stock-up on Progresso.
