Have you ever seen those yellow Schwan’s trucks driving through your neighborhood? When Fabgrandpa and I lived at the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, the Schwan’s guy made deliveries every other week. Even if we had not placed an order, we could buy things from him if he had it on the truck. We often bought containers of ice cream. Our RV freezer was not big enough to hold a lot, but on those days when Schwan’s was there, we savored Raspberry Rumble or Chocolate ice cream for dessert that night.
Schwan’s recently sent me some of their awesomely delicious Sea Salt Caramel Cashew Ice Cream and some frozen Monster Mania Cookie Dough for an ice cream party with my family.
We had had home made gluten free peach cobbler with the Sea Salt Caramel Cashew Ice Cream, and it was a to die for combination!

Schwan’s has several varieties of ice cream and frozen cookie dough you can pair together to make your own ice cream sandwiches. (Sorry, the cookie dough is NOT gluten free, but most of the ice creams are. Read labels carefully) With ice cream flavors like S’Mores, Cinnamon Roll, and Sea Salt Caramel Cashew; and frozen cookie dough in Peanut Butter Chocolate Chunk, Oatmeal Raison, and Monster Mania you can make lots of combinations. They also have the old standby ice cream flavors of chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, and others to choose from.

Oooh those looks so good! I have always wanted to get stuff from Schwan’s! I remember when I was in high school and we had a car wash for our swim team and a Schwan’s truck came and he gave us all some food!
I saw these when you posted them on Facebook. I am always tempted to order from Schwan’s, and now I have a reason to.
DOnt think I saw the schwan’s truck..wait maybe i did, in my younger days. those were some good ole days!
