We saw this stroller in an antique shop in Cedartown
We saw this stroller in an antique shop in Cedartown

When we were out shopping the other day, we stopped in at an antique shop on Main Street in Cedartown. There, we saw this baby stroller that had a tag on it dated 1950. That may be old, but I can’t wrap my head around “antique”. I mean, really!

That’s Fabgrandpa on the left in 1949 and me on the right in 1952. I don’t feel antique yet!

Yes, well, I can see why the stroller (not you) is considered an antique; it’s made of metal, mostly. The kind they make nowaways are generally hard plastic.

Wow. that is an awesome find for sure. I love to see how things used to be and when you compare it to all the gadgets we have today or how things function, like strollers. Things certainly have changed.

I really love shopping thrift stores. If I would have stumbled onto this item, I may actually have considered it an antique, since I’ve never seen one before. It looks like you’re aprox. 10 years older than me, so I would not think that’s antique!!

An antique is something 100 or more years old. 50 years won’t cut it.

I can’t believe how much strollers have changed-they even have automatic ones now!
