“The information and prize pack have been provided by General Mills through MyBlogSpark.”
BettyCrockerLogo

The month of May was Celiac Awareness Month, and Betty Crocker has two new gluten free products to tell you about to make eating a gluten free diet easier. They introduced a new cookie flavor, Gluten Free Sugar Cookies, and a new baking mix, Gluten Free Rice Flour Blend.

Smart moms already trust the great taste of Betty Crocker Gluten Free Brownie, Cookie and Cake mixes that the whole family can enjoy, and now beginner-to-expert bakers can use mixes or create from scratch delicious recipes year-round!

So why are Gluten Free moms choosing Betty Crocker?

  • Taste – Our consumers rave about the great taste of our Gluten Free products. Check out some of the great comments here

  • Shareable – You can make one dessert for the whole family.

  • Normalcy – You can feel “normal again” baking for your family just like before you went gluten free.

I have been waiting for them to come out with the Gluten Free Sugar Cookie Mix because sugar cookies are so versatile. You can use the mix as a base to make so many delicious things, like cinnamon cookies, sandwich cookies, snickerdoodles, and more. I haven’t tried them yet, but my guess is that they are just as good as the other Betty Crocker Gluten Free Mixes. I know I can whip up a batch of cookies and anyone who comes over can eat them. product

With all the choices you have with Betty Crocker Gluten Free Mixes, it can certainly make your life easier, at least your baking life. To make it even easier, Betty Crocker and My Blog Spark are giving one of my readers a baking prize pack that includes an 8 X 8 baking pan, an adjustable rolling pin, a silicone spatula, a silicone basting brush, and a timer. Just look: NICE!

Wow–I learned that Betty Crocker went to gluten free in response to a couple of their team members needing to change their diets. It seems that more and more people are experiencing sensitivities to wheat. God for Betty Crocker!

I learned that Betty Crocker went into the glutten free arena because …..”two of our co-workers found themselves in the gluten free world” one had Celiac disease, and the other family switched to the diet for her son’s well-being.”

Betty Crocker said “Their experiences opened our eyes to the challenges families face following the diet. It’s hard to be different, especially when it affects sweet moments with friends and family. No one wants to miss sharing a birthday cake or see their child have to turn down a homemade cookie from a buddy after a game.” I think it is great that Betty Crocker recognized and acted on this need…

I’ve never tried the Betty Crocker gluten free mixes but I use their Devil’s food cake mix all the time. I add a can of pumpkin instead of the other ingredients it says to add, put the mix in muffin cups and bake for 20 minutes. It makes a delicious, high-fiber, low-cal snack.

I like the Original Supreme Brownie Mix. In place of eggs and oil I blend up a can of black beans and add to the mix for a lower calorie higher fiber brownie.

I use Betty Crocker’s White Angel Food Cake Mix whenever my family gets a sweet tooth! It’s a great option for my husband, who is diabetic, and for me, as I count points following Weight Watchers program. My year old son, with no food or eating issues at all, simply loves the taste!
