If you want to be Grandma’s favorite grandchild, then you want to give her a cheesecake from Eli’s Cheesecake. The one they sent me was a Ricotta Gluten Free Cheesecake, and it weighed in at 70 ounces. That’s more than four pounds of lucious, delicious cheesecake. It was cut into 14 generous slices, so if you take it to Grandma in person, she might just share a slice with you!
Just look at that slice! For those of you who, like me, have to eat gluten free, here is the ingredient list for this cheesecake”. NOTE: while there are no gluten ingredients in the cheesecake, it is made on equip yet hat also processes gluten containing products. ( I did not have any gluten related problems when I ate this.)
Ricotta cheese, cream cheese, sour cream, sugar, egg, honey, heavy cream, butter, brown rice flour, potato starch, light brown sugar, maltodextrin, modified cornstarch, egg whites, egg yolk, pure vanilla, salt, xanthan gum. It has 430 calories per slice, and 37 grams of carbohydrate. Not a diet food at all, but no wheat or gluten in the whole thing.
Eli’s Cheesecake has been in business since 1980 in Chicago, and has created giant cheesecakes to celebrate special occasions, including the 1993 and 1997 Presidential Inaugurations, Walt Disney World’s 25th Anniversary, and Hillary Rodham Clinton’s 50th birthday. You can enjoy the same cheesecakes as the rich and famous!

Yum! I we LOVE cheesecake, and I won’t have an oven til we get a gas line run, so this would be great! If I got to choose, I would pick the Original Sampler. My husband likes plain cheesecake, and I like the ones with chocolate!
