As a teenager in the late 60’s and early 70’s, I loved listening to Joe Walsh: Rocky Mountain Way, with the James Gang on Funk # 49, and into the 80’s with All Night Long. He has a very distinctive sound that you will recognize when you hear it.
I was sent a review copy of Joe’s most recent release in May,Analog Man, and I was not disappointed. Analog Man still has that Joe Walsh sound that I love:
With 12 songs on the CD, including Lucky That Way and Funk 50, being able to listen to this album has truly been a treat. If you are a Joe Walsh fan, it is a must have in your collection.Buy it here!
I received a copy of this album for review, but the opinions expressed are my own.
Talented musician – “Walk Away” is a favorite of mine. I like the name “Analog Man” as I do wish music weren’t *Always* so digitized!
He has a great sound. I think I’ve heard him before.
Joe Walsh was a favorite of mine, too. I’ll have to check it out.
I’ll have to pick this up for my mom’s birthday later this month, she loves him!
I saw Joe Walsh in concert in 1976 in San Fransisco. Awesome!
Wow! I love this! I am definitely going to check out the album, thanks for sharing Karen!
I’ll have to check out the CD! Watched the video and what a great sound. I love that he has two drummers on stage and I love the Eagles (just had to share).
Oh I love his voice. I’ll be checking this album out since it sounds exactly like the style of music I love. (Yes, I’m a teenager and I prefer this genre of music to Justin Bieber) Great review Karen! 🙂
Dude, I’m 32 and I freaking LOVE Joe Walsh. Probably because my dad did and we tend to pick up on that. Great review!
