Shopping With My Granddaughter

Sarah, my granddaughter, is 13 and a half. She lives in Tennessee, and I am in Arizona, so going shopping with her is something that just doesn’t happen. Unless, of course, we are both looking at the same website, and chatting on Facebook at the same time.

Here’s me on facebook in Arizona
Sarah on Facebook in Tennessee

I was looking at Oasap.com, a site that has some cute clothing. While I can’t wear the styles they offer, I was sure that Sarah would find something she liked. So, I gave her a $40 budget to “go shopping”.

I had asked her if she liked this Blue Pony Laptop Shoulder bag:

I thought this was a cute bag

But wow, was I wrong about what I thought she would like. She picked the Glossy Silver Ruffled Shoulder Bag instead:

She’s growing up way faster than I thought!

If you like fun, funky, cute clothing and accessories, check out Oasap.com. They have quite a variety of clothing, bags, shoes, hair accessories, and jewelry at affordable prices. Do you shop with your grandchildren?

It’s so fun that you shop with her online. When I lived in Chicago and my sister lived in St. Louis, we would both go the Walmart in our area, then jump on the phone to shop together. LOL. She picked a really cute bag!

What a cool idea! This never even crossed my mind. I’m totally going to do this with my Niece next time her birthday comes around. I actually think you’re in a position to invent a word for this sort of shopping trip! 😀

First off, I think that’s just beyond adorable that you “shop” together with your granddaughter online. That’s really pretty special and I hope she appreciates it.

Second, sounds like somebody’s granddaughter is growing up pretty fast. Definitely a difference in styles, huh? 🙂
