Planning A Re-Wedding…

Me and my sweetie

I have joked around with Fabgrandpa for several years now, telling him that I want to get re-married to him when we celebrate our 20 year anniversary. That date is coming up sooner than he thinks. On July 18, 2012, we’ll be married for twenty years! It is really hard to believe. I have always told him that I want to go to Las Vegas and renew our vows at the Elvis Chapel, with complete with an Elvis impersonator singing Jailhouse Rock! I think it would be really fun, and it would give me another opportunity to wear my mother of the bride dress.

I have been looking at tungsten rings for men because I think they are really pretty. I bought him a cheap gold band from Wal-Mart when we got married, and then another cheap gold band with diamonds, again from Wally World, when he was getting over his cancer treatment back in 2001. So, I think it is about time to get him something like atungsten wedding ring, maybe one with a diamond. I think he would be really surprised if I gave him one of those in the Elvis Chapel.

Wow, twenty years that seem so long ago yet feels like it was just yesterday, huh? Awesome! Pre-congratulations to you both, and I say shoot for the Vegas renewing of vows.
One question, is that an older picture of you and Fab Grandpa, or have you currently gone back to the short haircut? It’s definately very flattering and cute on you!
