It was questionable whether or not I would make it to the end of this season. But Victory! I made it! Last shift done and leaving the North Rim on Monday!
Fabgrandpa stopped by my duty station for a visit on his break. He brings me Haagen Daas Chocolate Ice Cream on a stick when I work at the campground. Gotta love a man like that!
We’ll be pointing the truck towards Georgia on Monday–first stop, Flagstaff for a gluten free pizza at Picazzo’s Pizza.
Gaelyn says
He brings you ice cream? Such a sweet man. I have to wear the gray and green one more day.
Fab Grandma says
Yes, he does! Chocolate ice cream covered by dark chocolate. And it shows in that picture. Good thing we’re leaving now.
Judy Bell says
Now you’ll have to start thinking about what to wear each morning. 🙂
Fab Grandma says
And not any of it is going to be gray or olive green! I have pink, purple, and orange floral all ready to wear in the coming week.
Ranger Anna says
Good news bad news when the season ends. Enjoy!
Fab Grandma says
Anna, I know! Good news is I can sleep late every day, wear whatever the heck I want to wear, don’t have to face the public. Bad news is no paycheck for the winter. and no more Haagen Daas. Booo!
Jan White says
Safe travels!
Fab Grandma says
Thanks, Jan. We’ll be taking about 12 days to get to Georgia from Arizona. Slow and easy.
Virginia from That Bald Chick says
Hope you enjoy your gluten free pizza!
