How Many Pairs Of Shoes Does One Grandma Need?

I have way too many shoes!

Over the weekend, I was looking for a pair of shoes to wear when I went out to get the mail. That is when I realized that I have way too many pairs of shoes for one woman who lives in an RV. How ridiculous for me to have TWO pairs of boots. Granted, I do have to wear brown boots to work. Am I crazy, though, to have THREE pairs of clogs?  And TWO pairs of dress flats? I don’t go anywhere where I need to wear dress flats. (OK, I MIGHT need a pair for Becca’s wedding, but really, TWO PAIRS?

And the list goes on.  Two pairs of sneakers take up space in the bottom of the closet. I DO wear one pair of them when I take a notion to go for a hike. But since I have been sick with bronchitis since mid-April, I haven’t had those on my feet in a while. My favorite pair is a pair of open hiking sandals. They are the ones I always pick up first, because they are so comfortable on my feet. The only thing I don’t have is a pair of women’s sandals, or a pair of high heels. I haven’t worn high heels since 1994. So, do you think I have too many pairs of shoes? If you are an RV’er, how many pairs of shoes do YOU have?

I’d ditcfh the high heels, but other than that you just never know when you might need them. I like my shoes, too. can you tell? 🙂

I’m now afraid to count. I love my shoes, and boots, and sandals, and mocs… Probably a good thing I live alone with lots of closets in the 5th-wheel. No heels.

Well I would hate you to see my closet lol. I would have to downsize so much to live in an RV but that would be fab!

I have one pair of shoes and they are work shoes. I had a pair of sandals, but my puppy ate them. I should probably buy some more, lol.

I live in an RV and have way more shoes then you do. I have about 5 pairs of dress shoes for church, 3 pairs of tennis shoes and probably around 8 pairs of sandals and a pair of boots i have never worn since 4 years of living on the road. I agree though a woman can never have too many pairs of shoes.

Let’s not even discuss clothing .. i have the big closet full of just my clothes!

Ummmm, too many? I have a pair of black low heels…for those weddings/funerals we just can’t seem to escape. Then I have one pair of black and one pair of brown dressy loafers….perfect for business casual pants. Two pair of lace-up sneakers (both are brown…don’t show the dirt) – one for when the other wears out, got them at a good price. One pair of dressy sandals (think sundresses, cruises and Mexico), one pair of beach flip-flops, one pair of comfortable flip-flops (got them for a steal), two pairs of motorcycle boots (okay, three but I might find someone to fix the zipper in the third pair…holding on to them for a bit…LOL!), one pair of comfortable/casual sandals (just bought them), one pair of moc style slip-ons….and I just ordered a pair of water shoes. LOL! I have probably missed a couple…doing this from memory.

As a full time Rv’r living/traveling in the South, I go barefooted whenever possible! I have 1 pair of good sandals (flip flop style), 1 pair of everyday comfy sandals, 1 old pair of sandals (for water stuff) and 1 pair of flip flops. For winters in Gulf Shores, AL, I have one pair of leather loafers to wear with jeans on colder days. Also, an old pair of Nike leather tennis shoes which I rarely wear.

    I guess that totals 4 sandals/flip flops, 1 loafer, 1 tennis shoes.
