31 Day Challenge, Something That Bugs Me

While there is not a whole lot that bugs me, one of the things that people do that bugs me the MOST is throwing their trash out the window of their car, or just dropping it on the ground when they are walking. Now, you go for a walk in a beautiful place like a park or a national forest, or a national park, and when you get there it is pristine. It looks beautiful for you. So why in hell are you gonna drop your trash, so that the next person who comes in behind you gets to see your burger wrapper or your coffee cup? No one wants to see that! Just keep it in your car until you get to a trash can. Please. For the rest of us.

That bugs me too! Growing up my mother beat into our heads (not literally LOL) that leaving trash makes us a litterbug. I hear her voice to this day when I see trash on the ground. I guess it’s my turn to beat it into my children’s head.

Here, here! I am in complete agreement. If you’re walking in the forest with a water bottle or a coffee cup, you brought it in, why can’t you carry it out? Ditto for candy wrappers.

Litter has Always been one of my pet peeves. If you don’t like seeing it then why is it there? Plus smokers seem to think their butts aren’t trash. Yuck!

Littering is a pet peeve of most members of my family. Once my son-in-law observed a teenage girl at a fast food restaurant dropping her cup out of the window. He just scooped it up and tossed it through the open window of her car. It just so happened to be full of ice, so she got a bit of a shock! I don’t recommend this course of action, but I understand it!
