Not Another Freakin Rash!!!!

rosacea, lupus, facial rash
This time it is on my face!

I finally got rid of that terribly itchy rash that was in the nether regions, and then I wake up to this! I lave googled “facial rash” and have come up with several not so pleasant possibilities, such as rosacea and lupus. It looks like a trip to the doctor is in store for me next week. Gahhhhhhhh!!!!!!!

This rash is red, and while it is not so much itchy, it does feel all “burny” and sore if I touch it, almost like a sunburn except that I haven’t been out in the sun or wind. Anyone got any ideas? Now I know for sure I’m gonna be the kid with cooties!

How did you get rid of the itching? Did you find out what was causing it?

From googling burning face rash it was suggested that it might be soap or shampoo related. Have you changed either of those? Gold Bond Anti-Itch cream was suggested.

Good luck. You are having your problems.

I tend to “hold” yeast in my body and instead of, or sometimes in addition to, getting a yeast infection internally, I will get it on my arms or on my face. Maybe you’ve got something like that?

Mike asks if you stood in front of the microwave while it was working? Maybe it leaks.

I don’t know, but maybe stress. Sure hope a dr can help you this time.

What did the doctor say? I have only facial rash symptoms that look similar to the above.

The doctor said it was rosacea. He gave me an ointment and an antibiotic to take if I break out again.

I had an identical looking rash for months – small red bumps on my cheeks, some mildly itchy, but burned a little when I scratched them. Some with a firm, sore lump beneath them. Tried everything to get rid of them. Some bumps would heal up, but others would appear. Finally figure out what caused it – GLUTEN INTOLERANCE! Turns out it was at the root of all the other health problems I’d had for decades also: chronic fatigue, depression, hormonal problems, nausea, dental deterioration, weight gain, etc. Within 48 hours of eliminating it, all of my symptoms, including the inmpossible rash, saw vast improvement. Now I always know when I’ve been “glutened” because a few bumps will reappear, and take about a week to completely heal. Something to consider…

I have all of that. Never thought about gluten.
Dr said it looked like rosacea but I don’t ha e broken capillaries that you get with rosacea.

It turned out to be rosacea–I had to take a antibiotic for a while, and it could come back. But yeah, Rosacea
