handbag, purse, pocketbook, hand made, sewing, quilting
A handfull of hand bags.

The last time we went to Georgia, Becky saw the little quilted purse I made for myself back in April, and asked me to make one for her. I figured since we are going tomorrow, I needed to get busy on it. And then I thought I needed to make one for Emily too. And then when I got the fabric out, I decided to make one for me, too. Yes another one.

This one is for Becky:

I still love that fabric!

This one is for Emily:

handbag, purse, pocketbook, totebag, batik, handmade
Love those batiks!

And this one is for me:

This one is for me me me!

Three bags in all today, and it only took me about three hours to finish them all up!

You must be working towards a new sewing machine. Wow, all that in 3 hours. Like me, you work well under pressure. I like them all, but yours best. Have a fun weekend!

I found you from Long Hollow. I love your site. I’m going to poke around a little bit, but don’t worry I’ll put everything back where I found it!!

I love the pattern you used on Becky’s bag. You’re so talented. Can you recommend a sewing machine for a beginner?
