This is the view from the entrance station on Friday, July 24, 2009, where I work. A thunderstorm was approaching from the north. The rain and the breeze it created helped to cool the temps down to 70 degrees. Nice!

An interesting perspective. It must have been nice to have a cool change.
Nice shot Karen. That storm was awesome.
I wish I was driving toward you, ready to pay my money and then you would give me a map and my receipt stapled to it for a day or more worth of undescribed viewing pleasure. I can almost see you but alas I am in Georgia thinking about going to work tomorrow. Have a great week.
I really like the look of that sky — very dramatic. You did a wonderful job of framing it with the entrance station and trees. I'm glad you got some cool temperatures from the storm.
