Mmmmmm, porterhouse steak was on sale at Basha’s, so it was steak, potatoes, and LeSeur peas for dinner. My favorite meal. (OH, and I found gluten free worchestershire sauce, whoo hoo!)

We don’t get beef very often, so when we do, I like for it to be the very best.

That looks so good I can smell it. But can’t chew yet. Love to do lunch when I can.

I’m with you about making the steak good when you have it because I don’t have it often either. What a coincidence. Tonight my hubby and I bought a grass fed top sirloin from Whole Foods and when we got home found the vacuum packaging was actually opened. I am pretty sure it opened on the way home in the car but can’t take a chance with my immune system so we had to trash it. But first I took pics of it and saved the receipt because the next time we trek down to Whole Foods, they will be refuding our $10.00. Sheesh.

Christine: yes, most worchestershire sauce is made with malt vinegar, which has barley in it, which has gluten in it. But this worchestershire sauce says right on the label that it is gluten free. I was so happy to find it!

Gaelyn: Sorry about that! but it was really tender and easy to chew.

Teeni: I would have been so mad! To get all psyched up for a good steak, then have to toss it? bummer!

    Dee: yes, definitely, yummy.

Karen off subject here, when you were at North Rim was your site included or did you receive some type of special rate or part of housing for seasonal Gov employees? I enjoy stopping in to check up now and then thanks. D&D
