My friend, Lynda, is such a smart girl! She knows how to do everything (well, almost everything). I called her this morning and whined about my sewing machine, and she told me EXACTLY what to do. I was able to finish two aprons today. Yay! I am so impressed, and forever in her debt.
So, I am cooking Thanksgiving dinner for her and her husband, Charlie. Well, for me and FabGrandpa, too, you know. We’re having chicken (no dressing or gravy as they all said they didn’t want any), green beans, squash casserole, sweet potato souffle, and cranberry jello salad. That’s it, all of it, but it will be enough.

Sounds like a great Thanksgiving dinner. Better than spaghetti!

Glad that you got your machine up and going again. It is so frustrating when that happens and expensive to take it in.
Your menu sounds great. Have a happy Thanksgiving.

We enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner with fellow Workampers here in Kansas and had a wonderful time. Best to you and yours from me and mine.

Your meal sounds wonderful and I’m sure it is more than enough. People tend to go a little too crazy I think. I’m glad Lynda could help you with your sewing machine. Yay Lynda!

with a name like Lynda, Linda, how could she be anything but smart 😉
and as for the Thanksgiving dinner…ours was fabulous too…did you use Mama’s cranberry jello salad recipe? We made it like Paula Deen does this time with canned whole cranberry sauce instead of sugared fresh chopped cranberries….I melted the cranberry sauce into the jello…it was the bomb…more people ate it this time so I’ll have to think of a way to get them to not eat it 😉 love to you dahling
