The Problem With The End Of The Season

Me and Gaelyn

The trouble with getting to the end of the season, is that you have to say goodbye to your friends. Tonight we invited Gaelyn over for dinner. We all had a very good time, laughing and talking, and eating, and avoiding saying that “G” word.

Yeah, I kissed her!

Yeah, I kissed her! She is one of my best friends in the world, and saying goodbye and just giving her a hug was not enough. I wanted her to know how much I love her, and that I will miss her so much!

Fabgrandpa and Gaelyn

And yes, Fabgrandpa got his hugs in too. So, we have six more days before we leave here, and a few more friends to hug and kiss on before we go. And you know what? When we get home, there are many more folks to hug and kiss hello!

About Karen

Karen Eidson is telling the world way too much about her, whether they want to know it or not. She writes about her life of living full time in an RV, eating a gluten free diet, things she does for fun, and things that are important to her. She makes you look at photos of her grandchildren, talk about her husband's survival of oral cancer, and shows you things she has made. You know you want to look.

  1. Family comes first, but friends are fantastic! Everyone needs someone to let your hair down with, someone who can be a confidante and who can be trusted not to have an agenda but to listen with an open mind.

  2. It’s not goodbye, just until we meet again. But I’m going to miss you both BIG time. :*
