Today was my last full day to work at the North Rim this season. It was a beautiful day, with a cloudless sky and tempertures around 56 degrees.
As the shadows got longer, I felt a little bit sad that it is over, but happy thinking about my memories of the summer here.
It was a wonderful, almost perfect sunset, with the only clouds I saw all day turning pink, red and purple over the meadow beyond the entrance station.
What a great way to end my season!
I won’t be wearing the uniform again until next year. And so, we will be moving again soon. In about a week from now, we’ll be on way down the road.

Lovely sunset and you sound like you had a lovely seasonexcept for a few health scares. Hope the rest of the year is good to you. You look smart in that uniform.
I know you all are getting excited about moving on for the winter. I look forward to hearing from you in the next few weeks.

Thank you for sharing the beauty of the Grand Canyon with us! Like you, I can't wait for your next season! Where will you go on vacation?
You look so serious. It does look like beautiful country.
Be safe on your way to GA. Enjoy your trip. We are still in WA and the rains have started. Believe me if it were not for the 2 grand-daughter birthdays on the 27th and 29th we would be on our way to south AZ. Not going home to GA this year. Enjoy it for us.
A nice sunset to end your last day. I'm ready to pack the uniform away.
That was a perfect post for saying goodbye to your summer home. It is always bittersweet for us full-time RVers when we leave a happy place. thank you for sharing with us this summer. And SAFE TRAVELS. I look forward to reading your on the road posts. Where will you spend the winter?
Enjoy your down time. It's a lovely time of the year to travel and since it's post season in most places things are lower in price too.
Happy trip.
you look a little like Aunt Sarah in this pic :>
