We all know that Publisher’s Clearing House is associated with sweepstakes, winning prizes, and selling magazinges. But, they also give back to the community with charitable donations. This year marks their third year of participating in The Give Back, which is a social media-based philanthropic event featured on Facebook where the fans of Publisher’s Clearing House can vote once a day for one of three charities. This year those three charitable organizations are Saint Jude’s Childrens Research Hospital; the USO; and the ASPCA.
Voting in the contest to decide how the funding is distributed to the organizations will enter the fans into a giveaway where they will win a $5,000 prize for themselves. The charity with the most votes will receive $50,000; the one with second most votes will receive $35,000; and the charity with least votes will receive $25,000.
After the voting period ends on November 25th, votes will be tallied and the charity winners will be revealed on the PCH fan page. The Prize Patrol will then embark on the Give Back charity tour to deliver big checks to each of the charities.
“Our job is to help make dreams come true, and we work hard to do this every single day,” said Prize Patrol Elite member Danielle Lam. “We are truly privileged to be able to do this for organizations who make a difference by helping those in need. But we also know how much our fans love to win, so we’re happy to be awarding three voter prizes of $5,000 a piece!
While all three of these charities are great organizations, and provide much needed services through public funding from donations, I will be voting for the USO. Our military men and women need to be supported in every way possible, and USO provides a friendly welcome to let them know they are appreciated.
Publishers Clearing House is hosting the 3rd annual Give Back charity event! This year fans can vote for St Jude Childrens Research Hospital, The ASPCA, or the USO to receive a combined $100,000 in charitable donations! Plus three lucky voters will win $5000 from Publishers Clearing House!
