For many years when my children were growing up, I planned a Christmas Eve party just for them. We all dressed up in our best outfits, played games, danced, and had a jolly good time until bedtime. Even when they were just two and three years old, it was so much fun. But the best part of the party was always the food. I would pick up a Hickory Farms package, and serve it as finger foods for three little kids, too excited to see what Santa would bring to eat a regular dinner that night. We continued that tradition until my son, the oldest of the three, went into the Air Force when he was about twenty three years old.
Now, whenever I see Hickory Farms, I think about my children as toddlers, eating their hors dourves on toothpicks, and drinking their juice from my good wine glasses.
For more than 60 years Hickory Farms gifts have been a classic holiday tradition that brings family and friends together. Do you have a family tradition that centers around a Hickory Farms package? Many Americans do, and Hickory Farms is very proud to be a part of those moments. They continue to focus on and celebrate its long heritage of tradition and authentic holiday memories.

Holiday tradition, our daughters and daughter in law all come over the night before to help fix the dishes we need for Thanksgiving. I start the turkey early in the morning, so it is ready when they all arrive. We have an open buffet, we usually have between 15 to 25 people over for the day. Depending on the weather, if it is nice. I take a trip with kids and grandkids to cut down our tree. They all haul back to our house for hot chocolate and leftover turkey sandwiches
