So I was working ay the entrance station the other day, and this kidney infection came to visit. He seems to be one of those long term guests who overstay their welcome, as if there was any welcome to start with. I was in some pain and having a hard time walking by the time I got off work. Fortunately, one of my co-workers came through and told me the name of a doctor in Kanab to go to. I looked up the number and called to make an appointment for the next day.
Driving 85 miles to a doctor appointment when you don’t feel good is not so much fun. Finally got there, got seen, got a prescription and got home. I’ve been alternating from sofa to bed and back since then. And percocet has been my special friend. I’m hoping to be feeling better soon. And back to writing here on a more regular basis. Hope that is real soon.

Oh, I feel for you! This time last year I had a bladder infection, only the 2nd in my life, and I couldn’t believe how bad it hurt! I understand your current fondness for percocet!
Rest and take care of yourself. And congratulations on your new granddaughter! I’m so far behind on all my blog-reading! She’s precious!

Sure hope you feel better soon, Karen. That’s a real bummer at any time but especially when you’re out in the middle of nowhere.

FEEL BETTER SOON KAREN!!! I’m so sorry — that’sone visitor nobody wants. I’d assumed the reason you didn’t pop up with a new post was because you were busy getting your job started up again. Sorry that wasn’t all there was to it. Take care.

Hope you feel better soon. Was that to Page? You could have picked up your UPS package. (bad joke!)

Nope, we went to Kanab. The medical clinic inside the hospital is pretty efficient.

You have my sympathies!! I had kidney stones and a kidney infection earlier this year, and it was not fun! It took about a month for me to get over everything and start feeling somewhat normal again. Sending good thoughts for a speedy recovery! Take care of yourself…

I hope you are feeling better. It was a good idea to go to the doc, even though one is not close by. One of my friends tried to handle a bladder infection with cranberry juice and Azo. Not a good idea. She ended up in the emergency room.
