I received products from Van’s in order to write this review.
I have loved Van’s Gluten Free Frozen Waffles for almost as long as I have been eating gluten free. They are delicious, and available at lots of stores where ever I go. I have used them as intended, as a breakfast food, with syrup or with powdered sugar. But recently, I was hungry for something sweet at night, and had no cookies or cupcakes. So, what I did, was open a can of fruit cocktail, toast up some waffles, and made some Fruit Cocktail Shortcakes for me and my husband. Now, I have to tell you that even though these waffles have been a staple in the house since 2006, Fabgrandpa had never eaten one until that night. He loved it, and has asked for them again. They are THAT GOOD!
Van’s sent some of their Say Cheese Crackers. OH! MY! Goodness! These are so cheesy and good. You HAVE to get some if you like cheese crackers and have to eat gluten free. I found them in Wal-Mart! They also make these in Fire Roasted Vegetablem, so yum!:
I received two flavors of their PB&J Snack Bars, Strawberry and Blueberry. Both tasted really good, and would be good to keep in the car or in your purse for those times when you just can’t eat another potato chip!
The last item in the package I received was a box of Van’s Gluten Free Cinnamon Heaven Cereal. It was delicious. I eat my cereal dry, as a snack, so it has to taste good on its own.
