When warmer weather moves in,my thoughts turn to quick, easy salads for lunch or dinner. Nothing could be any quicker to make than a tuna salad. This salad is one that my Mother used to make, but I have made it mine with the addition of sliced avocado. Serve it up with some warmed corn tortillas or some tortilla chips, and you have a delicious combination that will fill you up.

I like it!
I’m growing mine out, too. It’s about as long as yours, only I’ve been having my daughter cut the very back every month, so it’s getting close to being all one length.
Yesterday I let it air dry and really liked the way it curled. This morning, not so much. I look like Bozo the Clown.

Hi karen, you hair sure did get long.
I have to remind myself to eat before I read your blog. Now i’m past hungry and ready to get me some breakfast. I love avocados and the pork looks great!

I love your hair color. It is beautiful. You are a lucky lady! My mom has natural cur and can let her hair air dry. If I do that, It just lies flat on my head. This reminds me, I need to get mine cut again.

Love the new “do”. You’re very brave!
Just curious….doesn’t your camper get awfully hot when you bake? I know ours does – whether gas oven or electric convection. It’s just like having the heater on and it’s getting too hot for that! Works out good in the winter though, LOL.

Okay Karen, you twisted my arm…I’m off to buy avacados when I leave the library.
I also let my hair get about that long and for some reason it got curly. Great wash and go length for me and just long enough to keep my cowgirl hat looking right when I’m working in the heat.
