2017 is here and it gives us a fresh start. I have a few goals for this year. I don’t make resolutions because I never was able to keep them for very long. Goals, I can work on. So, for my personal like, I will be working towards getting my blood sugar under better control, and get my A1C under 7.0. I will be working towards sleeping more during the night, and stop sleeping in my recliner so much. I think the BiPAP machine I will be getting soon will help with that.
Another health goal is to get some exercise, since I don’t get ANY right now. I am going to try to walk around the outside of the house every day at least once. Trust me when I tell you that that is a huge goal for me. I will also be working towards a goal of losing 25 pounds this year. Lord knows I need to lose much more than that, but setting a reachable goal may just help me succeed.
For my blog goals, I want to get back to writing more about cooking and saving money, sewing, crafting, and my personal life, and less about products. While I still need to write about the products for the extra income it provides to supplement my Social Security, I want to do less of it. You know, like maybe 50% of what I post instead of 95%. I will still be hosting giveaways because I love to do them. I love when I can give a little something back to my readers.
Another goal for the blog is to increase the following I have on my social accounts. If you are not following me on Twitter, Pinterest, and Instagram, I would appreciate if you would take a moment to click over to them and follow me.
Please leave me a comment here, and tell me what you would like to see more of on Fabgrandma.com, and what you don’t care if I never write about again. Do you care about the health issues I write about for me and Fabgrandpa? Do you like to see our thrift store finds? Do you like seeing pics of Morti and Rosie The Boy Cat? Crafts, sewing, quilting? Fabric sales and new fabrics on the market? Help me make reading Fabgrandma more enjoyable for you. Happy New Year to all of you and your families. What are your goals for the coming year?
P.S Here is a little poll for you:

I’ve learned a lot from your health posts and hope that you continue them. I’d also like to see more updates about the cats and your garden. Especially the cats–I think I’ve only seen one post about Morti here. You can never go wrong with posting cat pictures!

I am guilty of not talking about Morti more. I need to get him and take some pictures.
