Community Coffee began in Baton Rouge in 1919 when Cap Saurage opened a country store to sell coffee and other groceries to his neighbors. Four generations later, our family is still selecting, roasting and perfecting great-tasting blends for coffee lovers everywhere.
They sent me and Fabgrandpa four 12 oz bags, each a different roast, to try out. All of them are flavorful, with a good taste for a brewed cup of coffee.
What I like best about Community Coffee is their Military Match program. How the program works is that you buy your favorite Military Match Set of four 12 oz, 16 oz, or Single-Serve 18 ct coffees. The Community Coffee Company then will match your purchase with an additional four items, and send all eight items to the APO/FPO or military base address you provide. That is a generous donation of coffee to the military base of your choice. See more about the Military Match here.
Community Coffee comes in ground, whole bean, and single serve cups. They also sell tea, gift baskets, mugs, and more. They have a giveaway going on right now on their website, so go over there and enter to win!
