On Saturday, I was in my office/sewing room, just minding my own business, when I happend to look down at the floor. Near my feet was a HUGE spider! I must have jumped a mile, and as soon as I was able to shake off the fear I felt and move, I ran for the door. I shouted to Fabgrandpa that I needed him to come kill this huge spider. He was in the kitchen. By the time he got to the bedroom, the fearsome thing was gone. HIDING. Laying in wait for me to come back in there so he could attack.
I swear, it was THIS BIG! I couldn’t go back in there. I was paralyzed at the door. I just knew if I put a foot across the threshold that I would be a goner! On Sunday, Fabgrandpa went in armed and ready for combat with a broom and some Windex spray. He pulled all the furniture out away from the walls and rammed the broom under everything but the giant spider was nowhere to be seen. That just made it worse for me, because now I have this terrible fear that it is now under my bed, or worse yet, in the bathroom, just waiting…

I am scared to death of spiders. Of course I am also allergic to them and every time I get bit by one I end up in the hospital.
I hope you find the bugger soon. And like I always say of our 8 legged friends. Kill it with fire!

I HATE spiders! OMG Karen, I am always so afraid that a nasty old hairy spider will be hiding like that second picture, thanks a lot for that reminder, LOL!
When I was a kid, I was terrified to take a shower because I thought spiders were going to come up the drain *shivers. Hope you find that pest soon and can get back in your room without worrying!
