Saturday Stocking Stuffers!
Stocking stuffers are always fun to get–not big presents wrapped and placed under the tree, but something small that you know someone will appreciate.
I have two suggestions for stocking stuffers today, a couple a little books that would be fun reading for Grandma.
Girlfriends Forever by Reeda Joseph is a collection of vintage prints with funny sayings, such as “I can barely breathe in this dress…but I look Fabulous!” and “I started to act real sweet toward Grandma when I learned what the word “inheritance” meant. Girlfriends Forever: We’ve Got Each Other’s Back retails for $14.95 and can be found at Amazon.com.
How To Be The Perfect Grandma by Bryna Nelson Paston is a book of advice on how to be a grandma. Witty and fun, it is full of good tips like “Listen politely, then do what you want”, “Grandma’s house should always be stocked with good stuff”, and “Always remember that you are always in competition with the other grandmother.” Paston tells the stories behind the tips in a humorous way. How to Be the Perfect Grandma retails for $9.99 at Amazon.com.
Win both books! 1 reader will win a copy of both of these books. Just use the Rafflecopter form below to enter.

These sound funny and fun. Grandma could leave it the bathroom where that door lock sticks once in a while.

Cute! My son assures us we will never be grandmothers, but I consider those to be famous last words.

I may only be 35 but I am only a couple of years away from being a grandma or at least I hope I have a couple of years yet with my kids being 19 and almost 17 and then my fiance wants more kids so they would be around well my grand kids age.
Cynthia Beno says
Hello, I am a Grandmother of 5. And I LOVE them dearly and unconditionally, (my Children also of course that goes without saying). They range in age from 13 down to 2 years old. I am so blessed that they didn’t move away. They all live in the same area which is fantastic. And I would love to receive that book How to be the perfect Gramma but I also think that there is now way to be perfect. Just be yourself and enjoy the time that you have with them and teach and talk to them about everything that you can. Just maybe some of your wisdom will rub off on to them. But let their parents raise them. You can only offer advise if you can. And remember to hug and kiss them and tell them that you love them every time you see or talk to them. 🙂
