Grandma’s Gift Guide: Charitable Giving

The Wounded Warrior Project   is an organization that serves veterans and service members who have received  physical or mental injuries, illness, or wounds, due to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families.

Through programs such as Combat Stress Recovery; Family Support; Warriors To Work; and more, Wounded Warrior Project is working towards fostering the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded service members in our nation’s history.

I think this is a very good approach to helping our young men and women, who have given so much to their country, to get back on their feet and be mentally and physically healthy when they get back from a war zone. Giving to them is easy, and giving in someone’s name would honor them in a huge way. Just Click Here to make a one time donation to Wounded Warriors.

About Karen

Karen Eidson is telling the world way too much about her, whether they want to know it or not. She writes about her life of living full time in an RV, eating a gluten free diet, things she does for fun, and things that are important to her. She makes you look at photos of her grandchildren, talk about her husband's survival of oral cancer, and shows you things she has made. You know you want to look.
