Do you like to camp? Or do you LOVE to camp? I love camping so much that I sold my house and all my stuff 12 years ago so I could be a full time camper. It hasn’t all been chocolate and roses, or campfires and s’mores, but it has been more fun that not. My husband and I have lived in campgrounds all over: Pennsylvania, Virginia, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Kansas, Arizona, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Mississippi, Arkansas, and everywhere in between. It has been a good life for us with less stress and more fun.
Along those highways where ever we have traveled, we have stayed in KOA’s a lot of times. We choose KOA because we always know what to expect there–a friendly staff at the check in counter, hook-ups that work, and clean restrooms. But above and beyond that, we like staying in KOA’s because they are usually right on the way to where ever we are going. We have even worked at two KOA’s during our “workcamping” career–one in Florida and one in Georgia. So, I was really excited when KOA asked me to be a community leader on their Blog Frog Community, Around the Campfire.
Around the Campfire is a great forum for campers of all kinds to get together and talk about camping. Ask questions, share stories and recipes for campfire foods, and talk about where you want to go next time and how you’re going to get there. I’d love to see all my friends come to visit me and hang out around the campfire over at KOA. You can click on the widget below, or in my sidebar to get there. I’ll save a seat and a marshmallow for you!

I loved camping, with and without you, at the Flagstaff KOA. Especially nice during the summer when the KOA Kitchen is open for breakfast and you can fill up before hitting the road and not have to dirty the kitchen.
Great job! Congrats.
