I know I just made you look at Amelia yesterday, but OH. MY. Goodness! Look at this:
If you think that is a good photo, just listen to this: My son made the #1, and my daughter in law and her friend took the photo in their garage, using a sheet as the backdrop. How smart is that? I think they did a fabulous job of it, and saved a ton of money too! Good job, Seth, Sarah, and Jennifer.

Absolutely beautiful child! Wouldn’t it be a neat idea for the parents to take the same type of picture every year, along with the big number(s) and pink sheet? And barefoot in every picture! Love that little gal, she’s gonna grow up just too darned fast.

Oh my gosh it is all about saving money these days for sure. I remember when I used to take the kids for professional pictures to be taken, when I look back at them today they don’t seem like much. My daughter is clever like yours and makes photo opportunities.
Miss Amelia, is so sweet, and turning 1 is such fun. Enjoy her every day

Agreed! The picture is adorable. I don’t much care for the pictures taken by professional photographers. They are just a little too–slick. This one is lovely but realistic.
