I am amazed. This rash broke out on January 8. I didn’t get around to going to the doctor until March 1. This is what my face looked like before I started taking Doxycycl :
and this is only two days later. Keep in mind that my face looked all red and bumpy like that for two MONTHS!
So, yeah, don’t look too closely, but the redness is mostly gone. The doctor also prescribed an ethrymicin gel to put on my face, but it was out of stock at the pharmacy. I just went to pick that up today. This is an improvement. I also have to start applying at least an SPF 40 sunscreen when I am going to be in the sun. We bought one today that is SPF 100, which was the highest number available.
So, what do you think? Can you tell a difference?

Definitely less redness! Hope it continues to work well for you. My husband has been on rosacea meds for years. He’s currently using a topical gel (Metrogel I think?)

That is fast acting the redness is close to being gone. I just get two patches and they are not big, yet.

Are there lots of folks that have chilly temperature as their particular Rosacea catalyst? I feel as if it could be mine and am on the lookout for information regarding how to lessen my outbreaks

I have found that my prime Rosacea trigger may be temperature. Is this normal?
