Thursday night was a beautiful night at the Christmas tree lot. There was a full moon up there, making the whole place glow. In the photo above, the highest light is the moon. The other ones are the streetlights in the mall parking lot.
This is a Nobel Christmas tree. It has been the most popular kind so far. The people are here are buying huge trees, over nine feet tall. I never had a house that had a place to put such a large tree. Heck, I never had that many ornaments!
Lynda’s handmade Christmas ornaments are selling quite well, too. She has a lot of different kinds, but I like these the best. Very cute.
We also have some wreaths to sell. They are beautiful! This one didn’t have a bow on it yet, but it is still pretty.
The job itself is pretty fun. Yes, we do have a lot of work to do. We have to make sure the lot stays full, so after a sale, someone has to stand up another tree, measure it, put a tag on it, cut off the twine that binds it, and fluff it out. It keeps us quite busy. Today is supposed to be the busiest day of them all. We’ll see.

We had a beautiful view of the moon the past couple days too.
Those Christmas ornaments are adorable and it sounds like this job is keeping everyone on their toes.

I love the first picture and, hehehe, I am glad that you made sure we knew which orb was the moon.
I love home made ornaments. Those are very nice. One year I made little stuffed teddy bear angels. It is amazing what you can do with a glue gun.

We got a Fraser Fir, and I told Ken it had to be at least taller than me – more than that, I didn’t care!
He conceded that a real tree does make a difference after we got it home and decorated. I think I’ve made a convert of him!

The moon’s been divine here too – spending the weekend down the islands with the bay lit up from the light of the full moon – wow! Glad you got to enjoy it as well.
Let us know when you gt your ultrasund results – yes my O is still missing and it’s temperamental. Forgive me!
We always had a real tree but the forestry division no longer sells them so it’s a horrid fake tree for the past few years – lots of lights though so not all bad!

yes, I miss the smell of the real Frazier Fir's we used to get fresh off of the mountain, I ordered from a guy at AT&T who knew a guy at Bellsouth that owned a Christmas Tree farm on the side (of a mountain and his job 😉 Anyway, we went to an artificial tree about 8 years ago….my compromise is that I get to have the tree up longer….I just love Christmas and all of the decorations…& yes, we have lots of homemade ornaments on our tree, some Stef made and a lot like the ones Aunt Sarah used to make….Alan & I used to go to her house and sit for hours and make Christmas ornaments…those were the days 😉
